Founded in 2006, Groundswell is a non-commercial labor of love by a group of artists and designers interested in creating work that addresses – and hopefully realizes – social justice and political transformation. Our work crosses and confuses disciplines and is as varied as the field we aim to document through these pages. Our blog is an independent and ad-free publication that provides a birds-eye view of critical art and politics, both within and outside of the loose network in which we participate.
