rebel:art discovered that the Universidad Complutense de Madrid has offered a workshop in autonomous public art, tutored by educator and critic Javier Abarca, since 2006.

Chicago’s Mess Hall is entering its seventh year, and at a general meeting this week, Dan Wang interviewed Marc Fischer about Half Letter Press, the webstore venture of Temporary Services.

Two Steves – Lambert and Duncombe – are hosting Summer School ‘09, an Eyebeam College of Tactical Culture offering that gathers creative activists to workshop, critique, and better their work.  Unfortunately, there’s no form to apply for an audit, so you and I both will have to wait until next year.

ABC No Rio received city funding for their new facility at 156 Rivington Street, to the tune of $1.65 million!  They still need a couple hundred thousand before they break ground, so click through and donate what you can.

Adbusters relaunched their website, and the new Add-Art exhibit focuses on disabled artists, spanning 25 years of work from the National Institute of Art and Disabilities.
