Turbulence: Ideas for Movement

Turbulence – Ideas for movement is inviting proposals from visual and graphic artists of all kinds for its next issue, to come out in November 2009.

Turbulence Bees

The issue, as yet untitled, has a general theme based on two questions: what, in the context created by the overlap of various crises (economic, ecological etc.), is the new middle ground of political debate? In other words, given that neoliberalism no longer can define the centre of the political spectrum in the way it once did, where can this centre be moving? And what, in the context of reactions to the present crises and the conflicts that contributed to causing it, can we identify as a new common ground of struggles?

Proposals are due by July 1, 2009, to the editors, and final art will need to be completed by September.
