Luba Lukova at the Art Institute of Boston

Luba Lukova has two concurrent shows at the Art Institute of Boston through next month. Split between AIB’s Main Gallery in Boston, and the AIB Gallery at University Hall in Porter Square, Cambridge, the exhibits:
will highlight work driven by the artists quest for social change, and will feature Lukova’s work on women of the Bible, along with site-specific installations, and her most recent portfolio “Social Justice: 2008”. On October 16th, the artist will give a lecture outlining her career at Lesley University’s University Hall Amphitheater in Porter Square, Cambridge.
Luba was one of the three winners of the Art of Politics 2008 competition. A more extended list of her accomplishments is available from the Institute’s press release.
