Lego Activism: Climate Campaigners Scale U.K. Smokestack

One inch tall climate change campaigners struck the Lego Kingsnorth coal-fired power station at the Legoland park in Windsor, England.  The action was planned in solidarity with the Climate Camp 2008 day of direct action currently taking place in Kent.

Lego Activists take Lego Kingsnorth Coal Plant

The six campaigners appeared at the top of the construction this morning, and unveiled a banner that reads “STOP CLIMATE CHANGE” down the length of the tower. Lego police are in attendance at the foot of the tower, along with a Lego police helicopter.  The whole world is waiting with bated breath for the outcome of this standoff.
