Jo Dery makes short films, drawings, prints, little books, and occasionally music & papier-mache creatures! Below is “Echoes of Bats and Men,” about Rhode Island’s industrial evolution, as told by a little bat and her many friends during their midnight flight. She’s also been known to address housing rights and other sociopolitical themes. Jo will be showing at Chicago’s i’m doing this to win your heart film festival this Saturday.
