Last Day for Art of Politics Submissions!

Today is the last day to submit your poster designs to the Art of Politics 2008 competition. The entries so far are impressive, and include Luba Lukova’s Social Justice 2008 alongside a few of our own. Three winners will be selected and rewarded with $100 to give to the community or political group of their choice.

If you’re planning to submit, here are some guidelines and details:
- All artwork must be original. You must have permission to use any copyrighted images displayed in your artwork.
- You can submit multiple pieces of art but only one prize per person will be awarded.
- For the purposes of judging, your name should not appear in the artwork.
How to submit:
- E-mail info@artofpolitics2008.com
- Include in the body of your e-mail:
- Full Name
- Age
- City and State (or where you currently reside)
- E-mail Address (if different than the address you are mailing from)
- Phone Number
- Submission Title
- Issue Depicted in Poster
- Attach your poster to the e-mail as a jpg file; posters should be 8.5″ x 11″
in size at 72 DPI and under 1MB. Artwork must be submitted electronically; original artwork will not be accepted. - You will receive an email notification that your artwork has been received.
Keep in mind that the following issues are considered in the judging:
- The poster theme “Political Issues” is addressed
- Contest guidelines, including deadline for submission are met
- Message is clearly conveyed
- Creativity and originality
- Artistic and design quality
