Moss Graffiti

After our recent post on Defiant Gardens, and today’s earlier post about Guerrilla Gardening, it was fitting to find moss graffiti. Following a simple, earth-friendly recipe, it’s possible to turn moss into paint, and take to the streets. The ingredients are here. With a bit of care, it’s possible to grow your design directly on the surface, as the moss begins to recuperate.

1 can of beer
1/2 teaspoon sugar
Several clumps garden moss

You will also need a plastic container (with lid), a blender and a paintbrush

Beware, though, the moss will eventually take root and colonize the area. Make sure you’re away of the ecological constraints before painting.

More photos after the jump.
