Dedicated to critical cultural production at the intersection of art and activism.

We cover artists from around the globe whose work explores and realizes social change. Our goal is to provide a narrative about these activist efforts while simultaneously participating in them. Maintained by The Groundswell Collective since 2007.

Graphic Design for a Better World

idealist.pngIdealist.org featured our work and internship in a post yesterday.  We were featured next to Public Design Center, a “graphic design service and research organization based in Starkville, Mississippi that is actively engaged in making good design available to all.”  The PDC blog – here – yielded Kennedy Prints, a very inspiring Alabama based printmaker with a social focus (and whose prints show a firm belief in activist art.)  You can order prints $15 each.  I can guarantee a few will hang on my walls.

A special thanks to Idealist, and to our friends that have brought us this far!
