Dedicated to critical cultural production at the intersection of art and activism.

We cover artists from around the globe whose work explores and realizes social change. Our goal is to provide a narrative about these activist efforts while simultaneously participating in them. Maintained by The Groundswell Collective since 2007.

Intellectual Property Donor Stickers

The people at ni9e.com have a brilliant way of circumventing posthumous copyright.  Donate your intellectual property like you do your organs!

Depending on where you live, any intellectual property that you own will still be copyrighted for up to 70 years after your death. There have been moves lately to extend copyright well beyond that period.

If you choose to copyright your work over the many alternatives, you can affix a sticker to your license (much like the organ donor stickers) that expresses your will to release all your intellectual property to the public domain.
