They Rule

They Rule is a datavisualization illustrating the interconnectedness of rich and powerful Americans. It’s an interactive tool that allows you to arrange and rearrange individuals as you explore the boards on which they sit, the companies they run, and the degrees of separation between them. The data was collected from company websites and SEC filings in early 2004. If ever you questioned the notion of class power, They Rule will have you quickly convinced.

I’ve loved me some They Rule for a long time. I wish we could create our own like this. I don’t know how yet.
