State of Hope Tour: 9 Cities in 9 Days
Our friend Witt is playing a series of shows sponsored by the The Georgia Peace and Justice Coalition starting on Friday, November 9:
The State of Hope Tour also features American Friends Service Committee’s Georgia Eyes Wide Open Exhibit, illustrating the human cost of the Iraq war, which includes a pair of boots for each fallen soldier from Georgia, and a visual representation of the Iraqi civilian casualties. The tour concludes at the annual School of the Americas Watch vigil, which brings tens of thousands to Columbus.
From Marietta to Macon, Sautee to Savannah, The State of Hope Tour aims to encourage and inspire all Georgians to help build the world in which we hope to live. With dynamic performances and powerful exhibits, we hope to provoke important dialogue and connection throughout the state.
