Another Sky Press
“We want people to read our books, even if they read them for free. This isn’t anything revolutionary – unless your local librarian is a subversive of the highest order.”

Another Sky Press is an online publishing outfit that believes in the transformative power of technology. They operate on an honor system (the version they devised is called “neo-patronage”) wherein they ask that readers pay cost, plus what they think the work is worth. They are hoping that, by offering their work for free, they will cut out the middle man, and inspire readers to estimate the monetary value of their work.
They have received some attention lately from Kristopher Young’s Click, which was chosen as September 2007’s Book Club Selection by Chuck Palahniuk.
